Our ongoing mission to connect with other communities continued last month with two new partnerships added to the fold and a social calendar packed full of events. Polemos continues to forge ahead when it comes to building relationships within the web3 space.
Shaking Hands Across the GameFi Metaverse
The first week we found ourselves in a Galaxy Fight Club (GFC) far, far away… Our AMA with the Galaxy Fight Club team uncovered the exciting news of their P2E release, the gameplay streams, and our game overview provided helpful tips for success in GFC.
In week 2, we were tested by all six of the Gods themselves and were mercifully found worthy! Our Art department released six brand-new God Articles, each featuring brand new artwork depicting each God. We hosted our Art department for the Polemos Week AMA, digging deeper into their creative process. And at the end, we hunted for treasure during our Website Treasure Hunt, where each God presented challenges to our community members and the victors received one of six exclusive Polemos Gods posters.
Our new partner Aether Games (AG) was featured next, with a 50-winner giveaway and thrilling gameplay sessions over multiple days in both Aether Games and Edenbrawl. Polemos was also hosted in the AG Discord, with our co-founder Sascha answering questions from their community during their AMA.
We spent the following week with our partners at The Harvest, where NFT cards were gifted to Polemians who participated in our giveaway. We gained a greater knowledge of the game through our live gameplay session, Polemos AMA on the Harvest Discord featuring Sascha, an introductory AMA with Azra Games to feature their whitelist giveaway, and closed out the week with a riveting 2-day tournament!
The month ended with a celebration of our second brand-new partner, Civitas. Our AMA with Civitas was heavily attended, setting a new Polemos record for live AMA viewers. Our new partners’ strong community continued to show up, with our most successful Trivia event to date — over 30 attendees! Sascha spoke during the Polemo AMA on their Discord as well. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Civitas and all of our featured partners from September!
Like Our Presence in GameFi, Our Team is Growing
Our team was strengthened last month within the Tech, Marketing, and Art teams, with multiple new hires onboarded for each. Something Big is Bubbling in the Forge
We are hammering away to prepare the Forge for its preview release in early November! Community members will be able to take courses in the University, earn Honor points, mint reputation NFTs as they level up, and track progress in a personalized dashboard. The platform will also have support live in November to help you on your player journey with Polemos.
Forge content will be beta at first, but we have a plan to roll out new content features after the launch leading up to the unveiling of the Armory and asset lending in early Q1 ‘23.

A Look Behind the Scenes
Progress on Whitepaper 2.0 has been quite extensive, but unfortunately, a final legal review forced us to hold back on a public release and go back to the drawing board for a few things. We’re pushing on these as much as we can, but because long-term sustainability and success of the protocol remains one of our highest priorities, we can’t share a date for release just yet.
Polemos token generation is planned before the end of the year. Contracts will be audited and live, but tokens are subject to locking periods and will not start circulating until our public sale in ’23. Staking and DAO governance, as well as the opportunity to use tokens for exclusive services and perks, will be live at that time. We are grateful for support and auditing from our security partner Halborn, as well as auditing services from Quantstamp.
Our amazing Art team completed two female Gniwers in terms of sculpting. We can’t wait to see both current and future characters brought to life even further!
Speaking of the Art team, new lore and artwork are on the horizon, but we can’t share their purpose just yet… look for more on this soon!
Our magical Marketing team cast some compelling spells to increase engagement this month. From new events such as the treasure hunt and reformatted trivia on Kahoot, the Marketing team continues to find new and effective ways to engage and grow our community.
