Bear or bull, the volatility of the current crypto market is no match for the strength and innovation of the Polemos team. We saw many new successes this past month. Our acquisition of strategic partners continues to grow, as does our team of talented individuals dedicated to the success of our project. We have much to report for the month of August, and we hope you will share in our excitement as we continue to grow our presence in the world of web3.
Shaking Hands Across the GameFi Metaverse
Something we pride ourselves on at Polemos is how many new and exciting opportunities we take on each month. Our August event calendar was teeming with partner events and gameplay live streams.
We started the month by announcing our new partnership with Kryxivia, a vibrant 3D fantasy MMORPG on the Binance network. To immerse ourselves and the community in this innovative project, we hosted a live stream of their new Alpha Access gameplay with the Kryxivia team. Our game overview can be found here.
Polemos week was all about the introduction of our new community roles. We revealed a revamp of our strategic roles and opened them up to our loyal Polemians! New roles include: Competitive Player, Mentor, Game Expert, Researcher, and Course Creator. Each member will receive an exclusive NFT for their role after three months of active contributions. The following week, we re-introduced our partnership with Legends of Venari by hosting events surrounding the Beta Season of this creature collector RPG. Our lively and well-attended events included a roundtable discussion and live gameplay session. The accompanying game overview can be found here. We also hosted a challenging Legends of Venari trivia to test the community’s knowledge of the mythical Venari. To top it all off, one lucky Hoplite winner received one Vestal Base Pass from our giveaway drawing!
Our next theme week was all about our partner, Tryhards, the NFT blockchain shooter. We highlighted this talented team by hosting an AMA and gameplay live stream equipped with an informative walkthrough. The Polemos community put their knowledge to the test at the end of the week with some tricky Tryhards trivia.
We said goodbye to August in style with a week dedicated to Galaxy Fight Club. This PVP MOBA masters have so much to be proud of with the official launch of their play-to-earn in-game feature! The fun began with a Discord giveaway. Three Hoplites received one BYOPILL each to jumpstart their experience with this exciting new mechanic. Our AMA, gameplay live stream, and trivia all had incredible turnouts.

Polemos onboarded a significant number of talented individuals to join our technology department this month. Please join us in welcoming Alex (Senior Data Scientist), Joy (Lead Technical Support Specialist), Mark (Technical Support Specialist), Kokum (Head of Data Science and Gameplay Research), Arvin (Technical Support Specialist), and Chris (Event Coordinator). We look forward to all we will accomplish together by strengthening our platform for the best user experience possible.

Something Big is Bubbling in the Forge
We currently have scholarships available for Fancy Birds and Legends of Venari. Watch this space because we have a Galaxy Fight Club scholarship coming very soon!
Our acquisition of assets continued throughout the month. As of the end of August, we have 660 Birds for Fancy Birds, 46 Passes for Legends of Venari, and 36 Planets for Apeiron.
For Rebel Bots, we currently have 2,476 Lands, 872 Monkeys for Monkey League, and 707 Lands for Illuvium.
This month is our first report having Galaxy Fight Club assets on our roster, totaling 17 Fighters. We are really excited to use them in-game now that Galaxy Fight Club’s play-to-earn feature is live!

A Look Behind the Scenes
Progress is being made on Whitepaper 2.0. The most recent version is currently undergoing a widespread feedback round. This intensive evaluation involves investors, advisors, partners, and many other key stakeholders. We are aiming to finalize a polished new version within the next few weeks and release it to the public by the end of September.
Designs for the Armory are now complete. It’s time for the fun part to begin — making the Armory a reality. The Armory functionality for renting assets is expected to be available for select games before the end of 2022, subject to game release schedules. Stay tuned for updates on this.
The near completion of our hiring for data platform operations and support means more responsive support for our players, as well as upcoming products and a reliable platform.
As Polemos’ place in the GameFi Metaverse expands, so does the brilliant art in the Polemos Universe. The Naru avatars are officially done, and we are now working on the Gniwers. Our production timeline is looking solid to ensure we release our characters in a timely fashion. In addition, some new entries in Polemos University have also been revised.
The literary wheels are turning! Several lore articles have been created and are itching to be released, but they must remain confidential for now. Look forward to our Gods Week to bring life to many stories yet untold. Not only will we have new lore articles, but new artwork to accompany them!
